JOB DESCRIPTION

This is professional services work in providing senior administrative personnel with an in-depth and continuous analysis of finances for Fleet Services. This includes revenue forecasts, and coordinating the development and/or implementation of departmental financial policies and procedures. Additional responsibilities include assisting the Director in lease/purchase analysis and negotiations, capital budget preparation/analysis, and preparing financial impact assessments. This position will also be responsible for overseeing department financial operations in the absence of the Director. Supervision will be exercised over professional accounting and/or support staff within Fleet Services. Work is performed under limited supervision. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Financial Analyst

An eight (8) year combination of education and experience comprised of a Master's Degree in Business Administration or closely related field and two (2) years of responsible experience in cost, cost/benefit, and financial analysis. Directly related experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.
