Job duties:

 As the HETL’s newest Accounts Receivable supervisor you will provide office and administrative support to supervisors, managers, and coworkers, and will supervise and train at least one full-time Office Assistant II, and one full-time contracted staff member within the Collections section

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Process payments (cash, checks, credit cards, web/non-web) and reconciliation
  • Establish operational priorities
  • Plan, assign, instruct, and monitor the work of the support staff
  • Examine documents, detect errors, and take action
  • Adapt processes and procedures to provide leadership to the team
  • Coordinate the updating of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Collections Processes
  • Conduct detailed reviews of electronic and paper records to complete research
  • Evaluate employee performance


 Training, education, or experience in office and administrative support work that demonstrates:

1) competency in applying a solid knowledge of modern office practices to perform complex, varied office support tasks, and

2) the ability to use independent decision-making on the appropriate processes to follow, information to process, and actions to take in accordance with standard procedures.


All positions in this classification also assume the qualifications of: Office Assistant I, Office Assistant II, and Office Associate I

The ability to reconcile funds and perform calculations; a demonstrated commitment to timely and efficient customer service demonstrated attention to detaill as well as experience using financial software, preferably StarLims and Advantage.

Level 1:  100% State Contribution = $461.75 biweekly (employee pays nothing)
Level 2:  95% State Contribution = $438.66 biweekly (Employee pays: 5%)
Level 3:  90% State Contribution = $415.58 biweekly (Employee pays: 10%)
Level 4:  85% State Contribution = $392.49 biweekly (Employee pays: 15%)
*The level of actual value of state paid Health Insurance will be based on employee’s wage rate and status with regard to the health credit premium program as of July 1, 2019.
