  • additional $0.60/hr institutional stipend
  • additional shift differential $2.00/hr while working 2nd shift hours
  • additional shift differential $3.00/hr while working 3rd shift hours
  • additional weekend differential $2.00/hr while working weekend hours

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Riverview Psychiatric Center is seeking professional nurses to join its team of professional staff.  This is the second level of professional nursing work involving the care and treatment of patients with mental illness. Responsibilities include overseeing and providing medical and/or psychiatric nursing care in a hospital facility. Supervision may be exercised over hospital paraprofessional personnel and/or other assigned personnel as a group leader. Work is performed under limited supervision.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

A Bachelors Degree in Nursing or related field -OR- graduation from an accredited school of nursing plus on (1) year of professional nursing experience.

Valid State of Maine RN License

Level 1:  100% State Contribution = $470.99 biweekly (employee pays nothing)
Level 2:  95% State Contribution = $447.44 biweekly (Employee pays: 5%)
Level 3:  90% State Contribution = $423.89 biweekly (Employee pays: 10%)
Level 4:  85% State Contribution = $400.34 biweekly (Employee pays: 15%)
